HO ATH 3-Window Wood Caboose GTW #77136 (ATH-2596)

An HO-scale 3-window wood caboose from Athearn, faithfully modeled for the Grand Trunk Western prototype. This ready-to-run car is fully assembled and designed to add authentic tail-end detail to yards and mainline scenes on an HO layout.

Highlights include simulated wood sheathing, wire truss rods where appropriate, clear window glazing, and painted steps. The model rolls on machined RP-25 profile 33-inch metal wheels and uses McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, with trucks matched to the prototype—Arch Bar or Bettendorf with brake shoe detail. Finished with razor-sharp painting and printing, it can navigate minimum radii as small as 18 inches, making it a versatile addition to a wide range of layouts.
