N F59PHI with DCC and Sound RNCX #1797 Locomotive (ATH15404)

This N-scale F59PHI locomotive with DCC and sound, road number RNCX 1797, is a fully assembled, ready-to-run model that captures the look and feel of modern commuter power used by the North Carolina Piedmont service.

Designed for operation on standard N-scale layouts, it features LED lighting, see-through cab windows, McHenry operating knuckle couplers, and bi-directional lighting with a heavy die-cast frame for traction and quiet running. The model uses an all-wheel drive with a 5-pole skew-wound motor and multi-link drive for smooth operation, and it can run on Code 55 or Code 80 rails. It’s painted and printed for realistic decoration and offers multiple road numbers. Sound-equipped versions include an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, working in both DC and DCC with full DCC functions; engine, horn, and bell sounds are available in DC, and CV adjustments tailor performance, including slow-speed control and MU lashups.
