HO PS-2 2003 2-Bay Hopper Model (ATH15415)

This HO-scale 2-bay PS-2 covered hopper model recreates the Pullman-Standard design from the 1950s for HO model railroading. The car features a highly detailed injection-molded body, painted and printed to reflect prototypical schemes, along with photo-etched roof walks, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Weighted for smooth operation, it’s built to negotiate HO-track curves with a minimum radius of 18 inches.

As a PS-2 class covered hopper, this design dates back to the 1950s from Pullman-Standard, offering a compact 2003 cubic feet capacity for dry bulk loads such as grain, sand, or clay. Loads are loaded through the fixed roof and unloaded through bottom openings, with a weather-protecting roof. The model’s prototypical BN-era livery helps create authentic yard and mainline scenes on layouts.
