HO RTR 57' Trinity Spine Car (ATH15673)

HO-scale, 57-foot Trinity Spine Car for intermodal trailer and container service on HO layouts. Based on a Trinity-built spine car used by the TTX Company in the late 1990s, this model faithfully reproduces a 70-ton intermodal spine car and lets modelers load a variety of trailers and containers for realistic interchange scenes.

It features a precision die-cast spine, etched metal walkways, separately applied brake piping, and finely detailed ladders. Weighted for reliable running, it’s equipped with McHenry scale knuckle couplers and 33" solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on standard track. Trailer hitches are included separately in raised and collapsed configurations so they can be set to match how trailers are parked on the layout. With a minimum radius of 20", this model fits most HO curves while faithfully recreating the intermodal spine car’s role in rail service carrying a variety of trailers and containers.
