HO RTR 57' Trinity Spine Car BNSF #300531 (ATH15675)

HO RTR 57' Trinity Spine Car BNSF #300531 (ATH15675)

HO scale Ready-to-Run Trinity Spine Car in BNSF livery (road number 300531) is a detailed intermodal model designed to haul trailers and containers on HO layouts. Based on a Trinity-built spine car owned by the TTX Company and classified as RAF30A, these 57-foot cars from the late 1990s helped modern intermodal service, and this model faithfully captures that versatility by letting modelers load a variety of trailers and containers.

Detail highlights include a precision die-cast spine, etched walkways, separately applied brake piping, and fine ladder detailing. The model is weighted for smooth operation and equipped with McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers, plus 33-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours to run on most HO track brands. Trailer hitches are provided separately in raised and collapsed configurations so they can be attached in the orientation you prefer, and the minimum turning radius is 20 inches to fit standard HO layouts. In the real world, these Trinity-built 70-ton RAF30A spine cars—carrying TTRX numbers 360817 through 361116—were designed to carry a wide range of trailers and containers, a versatility this model faithfully enables on your layout.
