HO 50' FMC 5077 Double Door Box Car (ATH15879)

HO-scale FMC 50-foot double-door boxcar is a detailed model designed to add authentic 1970s-era freight traffic to an HO layout. Reproducing the era’s distinctive FMC two-door design, the model is offered in authentic Western Pacific livery to reflect real-world freight operations.

On the model, separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel are paired with a photo-etched cross-over platform for added realism. It rolls on 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and is weighted for smooth running, while body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide reliable, prototypical coupling. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and finished with realistic painting and printing. A minimum radius of 18 inches keeps it compatible with a wide range of HO layouts.
