This HO-scale model recreates a 50-foot Pullman Standard box car (PS-5277) in C&IM livery with car number 1002. It captures the mid-1970s era of per diem box cars, including a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door and the distinctive proportions of the outside-post design.

Detail features include separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, plus a photo-etch cross-over platform for the coupler. It rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and is weighted for smooth, reliable running. The highly detailed, injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and it uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Designed for HO layouts, it has an 18-inch minimum radius, ensuring compatibility with standard curves and other era-appropriate rolling stock.
