F59PHI Locomotive with DCC and Sound is a detailed model of Electro-Motive Division's high-speed passenger locomotive, built to pair with realistic passenger cars on a model railroad. This version includes an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx sound, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell effects, with operation possible on both DC and DCC layouts. Realistic touches include LED headlights, see-through cab windows, a heavy die-cast frame for traction, and an injection-molded body painted and printed to mirror real locomotives. Fully assembled and ready to run out of the box, it features all-wheel electrical pickup, a 5-pole skew-wound motor with precision-machined flywheels, a multi-link drive train for smooth operation, and a minimum radius of 9-3/4 inches.

Sound-equipped versions add onboard Econami sound by SoundTraxx and a DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound, enabling full DCC function control and sound in both DC and DCC modes. Engine, horn, and bell are active in both modes, and many features can be customized through CV changes.
