HO-scale Ready-to-Run 40-foot Fruehauf Z-Van trailer, designed for intermodal layouts in HO scale. This model reproduces the rugged 40' Z-Van used in road-and-rail service, making it ideal for authentic yard scenes and flatcar configurations.

Key details include separately applied mud flaps, rubber tires, and door rods in two- or four-door configurations, plus landing gear options that can be wheeled or shoe-style depending on the prototype. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and comes fully assembled, ready to run straight from the box. Real Z-Vans were produced in ribbed-side, beaded-side, and smooth-side styles, with the 40-foot version standard and some models extended to 45 feet; refrigeration equipment was available on certain configurations.
