HO 60' Bulkhead Flat Car OP&E #16005, #16007, #16008 (ATH17232)

HO-scale 60-foot bulkhead flat car built to mimic a common bulk-load freight car used on OP&E, this ready-to-run model adds realistic bulk-load service to an HO layout. Bulkhead ends help secure loads during transit, and separately applied end details plus a brake wheel contribute to an authentic, finished appearance.

It rides on 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for smooth, prototypical operation. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for lifelike decoration, and the car is weighted for optimum stability on standard HO track. A minimum radius of 18 inches keeps it reliable on typical layouts, while the bulkhead ends and end details illustrate how lumber, pulpwood and other bulk loads are secured during transit.
