N 30,000-Gallon Ethanol Tank Car (ATH18027)

This N-scale model reproduces a 30,000-gallon ethanol tank car, built for realistic freight operations on modern model railroads. It reflects the look of contemporary ethanol transport equipment and is available in branding such as a GATX-liveried version, helping to recreate authentic leasing-company assets used to move ethanol across networks.

Detailing is extensive: separately applied brake wheel, walkway platform, manway, outlet, ladders, brake rigging detail, safety rail supports and tank saddles; photo-etched metal walkways and end platforms; wire safety rails and end handrails; printed placards. It rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined metal wheels that run on Code 55 and 80 rail, and is weighted for smooth, stable operation.
