HO scale FMC 5327 12-foot Plug-Door Boxcar is a detailed HO model of a mid-1970s FMC per diem boxcar, designed for realistic layout operation. It features all-new tooling with accurate dimensions, a photo-etched cross-over platform, separately applied grab irons, end ladders and brake wheel, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, a weighted chassis for steady running, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. The injection-molded body is highly detailed, painted and printed to reflect prototypical schemes, and it is built to negotiate HO-scale curves with a minimum radius of 18 inches.
