HO-scale FMC 12' Plug-Door Boxcar is a faithful representation of a classic mid-1970s freight car designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. It features all-new tooling with accurate dimensions, a photo-etched cross-over platform, and separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and brake wheel. The model rolls on 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and is weighted for smooth, dependable performance. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and authentic paint and lettering deliver a prototypical look, with representative schemes and an 18-inch minimum radius to keep it tracking well on common hobby curves.
