N FP45 Locomotive ATSF #96 with Sound (ATH19081)

An N-scale FP45 locomotive in Santa Fe livery, ATSF 96, designed for ready-to-run model railroading. Scaled from prototype drawings and measurements, this FP45 captures the distinctive cowl-bodied silhouette and detailing that defined the real locomotive for an authentic on-layout presence.

Two variants are available: a standard DC/DCC-ready model and a sound-equipped edition. The sound version includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering engine, horn, and bell effects with full DCC functionality while remaining operable on DC. Both versions share rugged, scale-accurate construction, including a heavy die-cast frame for traction, RP25 wheel contours, see-through cab windows, scale handrails, and bidirectional LED lighting, with a minimum curve radius of 9¾ inches to fit a wide range of layouts.
