GN-livery N-scale F45 Locomotive is a detailed, ready-to-run model of Electro-Motive Division’s F45 diesel. The cowled body captures the locomotive’s distinctive silhouette, while a heavy die-cast frame and a five-pole skew-wound motor with precision flywheels deliver solid traction and smooth operation. The model features a 4,000-gallon fuel tank, see-through cab windows, flush-mounted glass, and fine Celcon handrails for a true-to-scale appearance. Bidirectional LED lighting keeps the headlight bright in either direction, and its layout-ready performance is supported by a minimum curve radius of 9¾ inches. Fully assembled and prepared to run on standard layouts, this GN-liveried F45 is a faithful centerpiece for GN-inspired freight and passenger operations.

Sound-equipped variants add an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering engine, horn, and bell sounds that can be heard on both DC and DCC layouts. In DCC mode all functions are NMRA-compatible, with CVs available to tailor performance, and a CV chart is included to guide setup. The model retains GN styling—complete with a wide anticlimber body, see-through cab windows, and scale-accurate handrails—combining authentic detailing with reliable traction and smooth running for everyday use on a home layout.
