An N-scale FP45 locomotive with DCC and sound in Milwaukee Road #3, this model delivers a faithful, ready-to-run representation of the cowl-bodied FP45 for compact layouts. It features a SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound decoder and runs on both DC and DCC power, offering full DCC functionality along with engine, horn, and bell sounds in DC operation. Prototype-specific details such as see‑through cab windows and MILW styling help recreate the look of the era right out of the box.

Designed for Milwaukee Road accuracy, the model carries a MILW-style body without dynamic brakes, a heavy die-cast frame for traction, RP25 wheel contours for smooth tracking, and a 5-pole skew-wound motor for excellent slow-speed control. It includes body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers, fine-scale Celcon handrails, and all-wheel electrical pickup, plus bidirectional LED lighting for consistent headlights. NMRA-compatible DCC functionality, CV adjustments, and a CV chart included in the box support tuning, with a minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches required for reliable operation.
