N-scale BNSF Auto-Max Carrier with wedge ends is a precise, highly detailed model of Gunderson’s Auto-Max articulated auto rack, designed for serious BNSF-focused layouts. It reproduces the real car’s distinctive long profile and three-internal-ramp interior, giving an authentic centerpiece for automotive-carrying scenes on an N-scale railroad.

Authentic detailing includes separately applied brake wheel details, a corrugated roof, full articulation with a flexible diaphragm, safety striping, screw-mounted trucks, machined metal wheels, and a weighted body, complemented by McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and an injection-molded body for a realistic, ready-to-run appearance. It’s engineered to run on Code 55 and 80 rails with a minimum radius of 15 inches, making it compatible with a wide range of layouts. The prototype Auto-Max could carry up to 22 SUVs on three internal ramps and stood over 140 feet long and about 20 feet tall, a dramatic silhouette faithfully captured in this model to enhance BNSF scenes and operation on curves and yards.
