Auto-Max Carrier, WRWK is an HO-scale articulated auto rack car designed to haul vehicles along intermodal freight runs. This model faithfully recreates Gunderson’s Auto-Max design, featuring an elongated body with three internal ramps that can carry multiple vehicles for realistic intermodal scenes.

It includes separately applied brake wheels and brake details, a simulated corrugated roof, full articulation with a flexible diaphragm, safety striping, screw-mounted trucks, machined metal wheels, and a weighted body for steady tracking. McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide authentic coupling, and the injection-molded shell offers sharp, highly detailed realism. It runs on Code 55 and Code 80 rails with a minimum curve radius of 15 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of layouts. Prototype background: In 1999 Gunderson began producing the Auto-Max articulated auto rack car, a 140-foot-long, 20-foot-tall vehicle carrier capable of carrying 22 SUVs on three internal ramps.
