HO Scale Northern Refrigerated 53' Reefer Trailer is a highly detailed, ready-to-run model for HO scale railroads. Reproducing a 53-foot refrigerated trailer in Northern livery, it adds authentic cold-storage capacity to freight trains and helps create realistic yard and intermodal scenes on a layout.

Delivered fully assembled and ready to operate, this trailer features a finely detailed injection-molded body, painted and printed for realism, with separately applied mud flaps, rubber tires, and a spare tire rack for prototype accuracy. It reflects prototype variations with multiple fuel-tank configurations, and some versions include etched metal aerodynamic wings. The trailer can be used on its own on a layout, or paired with the Athearn 57-foot Trinity 3-Unit Spine Car to form a believable intermodal train.
