HO 53' Reefer Trailer DOT Foods #2802 (ATH26760)

HO-scale 53-foot refrigerated trailer modeled after DOT Foods #2802, designed for realistic operation on HO railroad layouts. This model is ready to run out of the box and can sit by itself on a layout or be used in Trailer-On-Flatcar (TOFC) service by loading onto a flatcar to recreate intermodal scenes.

Painted and printed for realistic decoration, the trailer features a fully assembled, injection-molded body with separately applied mud flaps, rubber tires, and a spare tire rack. Some prototypes include etched metal aerodynamic wings, and the design reflects three fuel-tank sizes used by the prototype. It pairs naturally with the Athearn 57-foot Trinity 3-Unit Spine Car to recreate TOFC operations, while also looking right on its own on a layout.
