An N-scale PS-4427 Covered Hopper in Rock livery recreates a classic bulk-carrier used to haul grain and other bulk commodities across North American rails.

Equipped with body-mounted McHenry knuckle spring couplers and screw-mounted, roller-bearing trucks, the model rolls on 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and runs on Code 55 and Code 80 track. It is weighted for stable operation, arrives fully assembled and ready to run, and features razor-sharp painting and printing. It ships in a jewel box for display or safe storage, and the minimum turning radius is 9 3/4 inches. In prototype terms, PS-4427 covered hoppers carried 4,427 cubic feet of bulk commodities like grain and served across North American rails for decades.
