An N-scale model of a 40-foot offset coal hopper with a removable coal load, GTW Unit #1, designed for realistic coal-hauling scenes on model railroads. This car reflects the evolution of automated loading and unloading in rail service and provides a faithful representation of an open-hopper coal car for yard and mainline operation.

Built for authentic operation and display, the model features a highly detailed injection-molded body, a weighted die-cast underframe, and machined metal wheels that run on Code 55 and Code 80 rail.
