An HO-scale ready-to-run SW1500 switcher in Wisconsin Central livery, faithfully representing WC’s late-1990s rebuilds of ex-SP units. This detailed model is designed for authentic yard and industrial switching on HO layouts and arrives fully assembled and ready to run, with a minimum operating radius of 18 inches for versatile track plans.

Highlights include a weed cutter-style plow, MU hoses, whip-style antenna, Flexicoil trucks, and a full cab interior with an all-weather cab window, plus a 1,100-gallon fuel tank. The model features a detailed cab interior, separately applied grab irons, see-through radiator grille, drop steps, MU stands, and painted decoration for realism. McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) ride on RP25 wheels for smooth operation on most HO track, while all-wheel drive and all-wheel electrical pickup ensure reliable performance. DCC-ready configurations use Quick Plug with a 21-pin NEM connector, and newer versions add a more powerful, quieter can motor, LED lighting, and operating ground lights. Sound-equipped variants include Tsunami2 with dual cube speakers and an onboard decoder that runs in both DC and DCC; engine, horn, and bell sounds are active in DC and all functions are NMRA-compatible in DCC mode.
