This detailed HO model reproduces WC’s late-1990s SW1500s, rebuilt from ex-SP units and repainted in WC colors, delivering an authentic, compact switcher for HO layouts. It includes a weed cutter-style plow, MU hoses, whip-style antenna, Flexicoil trucks, a full cab interior, and all-weather cab windows for a realistic presence on the rails.

Inside, the model features a detailed cab interior, see-through radiator grille, and accurate embellishments like signal hoses, front and rear trainline hoses, drop steps, MU stands, and finely printed number boards. It rides on McHenry scale knuckle couplers with all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet operation and reliable current pickup. Depending on the version, it is DCC-ready with a 21-pin Quick Plug interface or sound-equipped with Tsunami2 and dual speakers; LED lighting and operating ground lights add realism. The locomotive supports both DC and DCC operation and is NMRA-compatible in DCC mode, with a minimum recommended radius of 18 inches for best performance.
