HO-scale Ready-to-Run SW1500 switcher in Cotton Belt livery is built for yard work and short-line operations, delivering authentic switching power in a compact model. It reproduces the prototype’s character with SP-style lighting and gyralight fixtures, a P-3 horn, Flexicoil trucks, a 1,100-gallon fuel tank, and a fully detailed cab interior. The model arrives fully assembled and ready to run, equipped with McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet operation on standard HO layouts.

Details include see-through radiator grilles and cab windows, separately applied wire grab irons, and finely painted decoration for realism. DCC-ready versions include a 21-pin plug for easy decoder installation, while sound-equipped variants use Tsunami2 sound with dual cube speakers and operate on both DC and DCC. In DC operation, some functions may be limited, while DCC offers full NMRA-compatible control; an improved can motor provides more power with quieter operation, LED lighting for long life, all-wheel electrical pickup, and RP25-contour wheels for reliable performance on most HO track, with a minimum operating radius of 18 inches. Window packaging allows easy viewing of the model in its box.
