HO Scale Ready-to-Run SW1500 Locomotive — Burlington Northern, No. 317. This compact diesel switcher is designed for authentic yard work on HO-scale layouts and ships fully assembled and ready to run, delivering BN styling and reliable, smooth operation straight out of the box.

Externally, the model features a highly detailed injection-molded body with BN paint and printing, a full cab interior, see-through cab windows and radiator grille, and finely applied grab irons, MU stands, hoses, and other scale details. BN-specific extras include operating ground lights, a Western-Cullen beacon, a firecracker antenna, and a 1,100-gallon fuel tank for added realism. The chassis uses RP25-contoured wheels with all-wheel drive for steady performance and a refined five-pole motor for quiet operation. Available in DCC-ready form with a 21-pin plug and in DCC/sound versions with Tsunami2 decoders and dual cube speakers, it delivers engine, horn, and bell sounds under DCC control (some functions are limited in DC). Minimum layout radius is 18 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of HO setups.
