This ready-to-run HO model captures the classic ALCO RS-3 in CPR’s Action Red scheme, including a Nathan M3 horn on a bracket, a large Sinclair antenna, and the distinctive CP “multi-mark” insignia. Fully assembled and ready to operate, it brings authentic CPR motive power to an HO layout straight out of the box.

Designed for dependable, era-accurate operation, this RS-3 combines detailed scale features with modern performance: metal grab irons, fine-scale handrails, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible); options for different fuel tanks per prototype; all-wheel drive with a newly designed can motor that is more powerful and quieter, plus flywheels for smooth motion and all-wheel electrical pickup. See-through etched radiator fan and cab windows add realism, while LED lighting provides long-lasting illumination. DCC-ready variants include a 21-pin plug, and sound-equipped models feature Tsunami2 DCC/Sound with a cube speaker, working on both DC and DCC with NMRA-compatible function control in DCC mode.
