An HO-scale Western Pacific SW1500 switcher locomotive, a ready-to-run model that includes DCC and sound for lifelike yard switching. Built to mirror WP’s late-model switchers, this locomotive served in the Bay Area, primarily in downtown San Francisco and Oakland, making it a convincing focal point for realistic switching on an HO layout.

The model features a detailed cab interior and lifelike exterior details—including a see-through radiator grille, carefully applied grab irons and fine-scale handrails—plus a new, quiet can motor and all-wheel drive for smooth operation. DCC-ready variants provide a 21-pin plug for quick DCC installation, while DCC-and-sound versions include a Tsunami2 decoder with dual speakers and engine, horn, and bell sounds that operate in both DC and DCC; LED lighting and operating ground lights add nighttime realism, and the chassis rides on RP25-profile wheels designed for compatibility with most HO track.
