Recreating late-1960s Cotton Belt power, this locomotive combines detailed styling with reliable DCC operation and Tsunami2 sound to bring everyday switching scenes to life on the layout.

Authentic detailing includes SP-style lighting with a “head knocker” gyralight, a P-3 horn, Flexicoil trucks, and an early-configuration exterior with footboard pilots, pilot face grab irons, and corner-frame gussets. Notable features include a 1,100-gallon fuel tank and a fully equipped cab interior, along with see-through radiator grilles, separately applied wire grab irons, and fine-scale handrails. The model rides on all-wheel drive with a powerful can motor and flywheels for smooth, quiet operation and uses a 21-pin DCC interface for plug-and-play installation. DCC-ready variants provide the 21-pin plug, while DCC and sound versions include Tsunami2 sound with dual cube speakers that operate in both DC and DCC.
