An HO-scale SW1500 diesel locomotive with DCC and sound, a ready-to-run model designed to bring the Cotton Belt’s late-1960s SW1500 switchers to life on your layout.

The model captures era specifics such as SP-style lighting with gyralights, P-3 horn, and a full cab interior, plus front and rear trainline hoses with silver glad hands, see-through radiator grilles, and separately applied grab irons. It rides on flexicoil trucks with RP25 contours, includes an 1,100-gallon fuel tank, and a wealth of period-correct detailing. A high-torque, quiet can motor powers smooth, all-wheel operation, supported by full electrical pickup. DCC-ready Quick Plug and a 21-pin interface simplify decoder installation, while the DCC & sound versions use Tsunami2 with dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds on DC or DCC (some functions are limited in DC). LED lighting adds long life, and an 18-inch minimum radius keeps operation smooth on typical HO curves. Fully assembled and decorated, the model ships with an interior plastic blister to protect it during storage.
