An HO-scale SW1500 diesel switcher in Southern Pacific livery, numbered 2577, designed for authentic yard and industrial switching on HO layouts. This model captures SP’s switcher heritage with a prominent cab-front number board and a full front-and-rear lighting package, helping it stand out in dim yards and staging areas while delivering realistic switching motion on the layout.

The model is richly detailed and performance-minded: it features lit ground lights, a detailed cab interior, MU hoses, dual exhaust stacks, printed number boards, and fine-scale handrails, plus SP cues like frame-mounted handrails, whip antenna, and a large fuel tank. Front and rear trainline hoses with silver glad hands, see-through radiator grille and cab windows, separately applied grab irons, and carefully reproduced step arrangements add to the prototype feel. It rides on RP25 wheels with McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee compatible), offers all-wheel drive with precise gearing and reliable electrical pickup, and comes in both DCC-ready form with a 21-pin NEM connector and sound-equipped variants featuring Economi sound with a single cube speaker.
