HO Union Pacific SW1500 Locomotive with DCC and Sound, UP 1014, is an HO-scale diesel switcher designed for authentic yard and industrial switching on a model railroad. This four-axle switcher captures the compact silhouette and twin-exhaust styling of the prototype, finished in Union Pacific livery with the road number 1014 for an authentic UP roster on your layout.

Packed with scale detail and modern performance, it features LED ground lights, a detailed cab interior, see-through radiator grille and cab windows, frame-mounted handrails, and fine wire grab irons. The model rides on RP25-contour wheels with all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for smooth, reliable operation, and includes McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and MU hoses for realistic lash-ups. DCC-ready variants use a Quick Plug 21-pin connector, while DCC and sound versions add SoundTraxx Economi sound with a single cube speaker and operate in both DC and DCC; the sound variant offers engine, horn, and bell sounds with CV-based tuning. New features include operating ground lights and a more powerful, quieter can motor, with a minimum recommended radius of 18 inches.
