HO Scale SW1500 Locomotive with DCC & Sound — Southern Railway #74L. This compact diesel switcher is designed for yard and industrial service on HO layouts, delivering authentic power and sound. The model faithfully replicates the Southern prototype with period details such as Flexicoil trucks, a large fuel tank, a firecracker antenna, and frame-mounted long handrails with footboards removed at both ends. A Nathan P-3 horn and illuminated ground lights, along with a detailed cab interior, help bring the locomotive to life.

On the rails, it offers smooth operation thanks to all‑wheel drive, precision gears, RP25 wheel contours, and reliable electrical pickup. DCC-ready features include a Quick Plug 21-pin interface for easy DCC installation; DCC & sound versions carry a SoundTraxx Economi sound system with a single cube speaker for engine, horn, and bell sounds (some functions may be limited in DC). The model also includes MU stands, separately applied wire grab irons, see-through radiator grille and cab windows, LED lighting, and McHenry knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible).
