An HO-scale model of a modern 30,000-gallon ethanol tank car in CTCX #3 livery, designed to bring authentic ethanol-transport detail to HO layouts. It’s ideal for adding realism to freight trains, yards, and dioramas, helping layouts feel like active, contemporary rail networks.

Prototype-inspired details include separately applied walkway platforms, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, safety-rail supports, tank saddles, and printed placards, with photo-etched walkways and end platforms, plus wire safety rails and end handrails. The model rides on 100-ton roller bearing trucks and 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and is weighted for steady performance. Body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers enable realistic coupling, while the injection-molded body is painted and printed for lifelike decoration. It’s designed to negotiate an 18-inch minimum-radius curve, making it well-suited to a wide range of HO-track layouts.
