HO scale 40-foot Offset Coal Hopper with Load is a detailed, ready-to-run model designed for realistic coal-hauling scenes on an HO layout. It mirrors the offset hopper design used with automated loading and unloading facilities and includes a removable coal load for staging unloading demonstrations.

Out of the box it features factory-applied wire grab irons, stirrup steps, end braces, and a brake platform, along with a complete braking system including brake wheel and housing, air reservoir, brake cylinder, triple valve, and trainline with supports and roping eye. The model is weighted for steady handling, uses McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and rides on precision machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. Fully assembled and ready to run, it performs reliably on layouts with a minimum curve radius of 18 inches.
