N 50' NACC Box CNJ #41022 Model Train Car (ATH3868)

This N-scale model recreates a 50-foot insulated box car built by the North American Car Corporation, represented here as CNJ 41022. It’s designed for realistic CNJ operations on an N-scale layout, bringing a classic mid-20th-century freight car to life on your railroad.

Three road numbers are included along with etched metal stirrup steps, a detailed underframe, and authentic plug doors from Pullman Standard or Stanray (Superior) to mirror the prototype. Roof options mirror the historical choices, with either Pullman Standard or Stanray (Superior) roofs to match the era. The model rides on N-scale 70-ton trucks with machined 33-inch metal wheels and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. It is weighted for steady performance and can negotiate minimum curves of 9¾ inches.
