Thrall N-Scale High-Side Gondola with Load is a detailed model freight car designed for authentic N-scale railroading layouts. It recreates Thrall’s classic high-side gondolas used to haul coal and other bulk loads, giving layout scenes an authentic, workaday freight car centerpiece.

Features include machined metal wheels, screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks, and body-mounted McHenry scale operating knuckles with a separately applied brake wheel. The car runs on Code 40, 55, and 80 rails, and its highly detailed injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed, weighted for smooth operation. A minimum curve radius of 9¾ inches keeps it maneuverable on typical N-scale layouts, and the finish is primed for grime modeling—matching an in-service look and providing an ideal starting point for adding weathering and rust to the prototype.
