An N-scale Thrall high-side gondola with load, a detailed freight car designed to add authentic mid-century coal-haul traffic to an N-scale layout. It runs on Code 40, 55, and 80 rails, fitting a wide range of track plans and scenes.

Key features include machined metal wheels, screw-mounted 100-ton roller-bearing trucks, body-mounted McHenry scale operating knuckle couplers, and a separately applied brake wheel. The model is accurately painted and printed on a highly detailed injection-molded body and is weighted for smooth, reliable operation. A minimum curve radius of 9 ¾ inches helps it navigate typical layouts. The finish is primed for grime modeling, providing an authentic in-service appearance with base colors ready to weather and age. Thrall built high-side gondolas and rotary-dump coal cars from the 1960s through the 1980s, a heritage echoed in this model’s design.
