HO 57-foot Trinity Spine Car for Trailers and Containers is an HO-scale model designed to haul 40-foot trailers and shipping containers on HO layouts. Based on a Trinity-built car owned by the TTX Company, this late-1990s 70-ton RAF30A design faithfully captures the prototype and lets modelers load a variety of trailers and containers.

Key features include a precision die-cast spine structure, separately applied brake piping, and fine ladder detail, with McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers installed for reliable coupling. The car rolls on 33" solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most track brands, and trailer hitches come separately in raised and collapsed configurations to suit display or operating preferences. Etched metal walkways, compatibility with Athearn’s 40' trailers and containers, and weight tuned for stable, realistic performance all contribute to dependable operation, with a minimum 20-inch radius needed for smooth handling on smaller layouts.
