HO Scale 50-Foot Ice Bunker Reefer (SFRD) is a faithfully detailed model of a refrigerated boxcar designed to move perishable freight at controlled temperatures. These ice-cooled reefers historically carried dairy, meat, and vegetables, and this model captures that era with authentic detailing, including Santa Fe-style reversed ice hatches and a finely molded body.

Ready to roll, this model arrives fully assembled and ready to run, weighted for stable operation on HO tracks. It features separately applied end tack boards and door latch bars, molded and wire-form grab irons, stirrup steps and recessed ladders, and a photo-etched brake platform. It uses McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and precision-machined wheels with RP25 contours, all wrapped in a highly detailed injection-molded body, and it accommodates an 18-inch minimum radius for smooth performance on typical layouts.
