HO-scale 50-foot Ice Bunker Reefer is a vintage refrigerated boxcar model built for HO layouts. These reefers carried perishable freight like dairy, meat, and vegetables at controlled temperatures, traditionally cooled with ice. This model captures the classic ice-bunker design with detailed features that add authenticity to dioramas and operating layouts.

Fully assembled and ready to run, the car is weighted for stable operation on HO tracks. It includes separately applied end tack boards and door latch bars, molded and wire-form grab irons, stirrup steps, and recessed ladders. Positionable Santa Fe-style reversed ice hatches with etched hatch stops, a photo-etched brake platform, and McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers enhance realism, while precision-machined RP25 wheels roll smoothly on the rails. The highly detailed injection-molded body, combined with an 18-inch minimum radius, makes it suitable for a wide range of layouts while preserving authentic scale appearance.
