HO PS-2 2600 Covered Hopper B&O #600409 (ATH63808)

HO Scale PS-2 2600-Cubic-Foot Covered Hopper in Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) livery is a ready-to-run HO model that recreates the 2600 cubic-foot hopper used for cement and sand service since the 1960s.

Prototype details include a flush or overhanging roof to match the real car, highly detailed end cages and etched end platforms, and body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers for authentic coupling. The model rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track and is weighted for stable performance. The injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism, and the car arrives fully assembled and ready to run with an 18-inch minimum radius. In service, the PS-2 2600 cu ft hopper was introduced in the 1960s and was widely used for cement and sand, sometimes serving as a buffer car when bulkheads weren't used.
