This HO-scale PS-2 2600 cu ft covered hopper in Baltimore & Ohio markings is a ready-to-run freight car designed for realistic cement and sand service on HO layouts.

Prototype-inspired details include a roof that can be flush or overhanging, highly detailed end cages and etched end platforms, and body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours roll smoothly on most popular brands of track, and the car is weighted for optimum performance. The injection-molded body is highly detailed, and the model is accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism, arriving fully assembled and ready to run. The PS-2 2600 cu ft hopper entered service in the 1960s and was commonly used for cement and sand, occasionally serving as a buffer car when a load wasn’t bulkheaded. Minimum radius for operation is 18 inches.
