HO PS-2 2600-Cubic-Foot Covered Hopper model is a detailed HO-scale freight car designed to replicate mid-century cement and sand service. Available in two classic liveries and fully assembled, it’s ready to roll on standard HO track and adds authentic period detail to any layout.

The model features an injection-molded body with flush or overhanging roof per the prototype, highly detailed end cages and etched end platforms, and body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours ensure smooth operation on most brands of track, while the car is weighted for stable handling. Accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism, the PS-2 2600-Cubic-Foot hopper fits 18-inch minimum-radius curves and reflects its 1960s-era cement and sand service, with occasional use as a buffer car where a bulkhead was not provided.
