An HO-scale replica of EMD’s high‑speed F59PHI locomotive, produced from 1994 to 2001, this model captures the prototype’s isolated cab, lightweight body and streamlined silhouette. The real locomotive served with CDOT and across North America on various routes, including Amtrak California services, and this CDTX‑liveried version brings that history to a contemporary layout.

Authentic detailing and modern model features include LED lighting, DCC‑ready Quick Plug with a 21‑pin NEM connector, see‑through cab glazing and radiator fans, plus separately applied horn and wire grab irons. Celcon scale handrails, a snowplow, McHenry couplers, and an all‑wheel‑drive heavy die‑cast frame deliver solid traction, while a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor and precise gearing ensure smooth, quiet operation on common HO layouts.
