HO F59PHI Locomotive UTAX #15 (ATH64856)

HO F59PHI Locomotive UTAX No. 15 is an HO-scale high-speed passenger locomotive modeled after EMD's F59PHI. Originally built for California's Department of Transportation, the prototype is known for its isolated cab, lightweight body and streamlined silhouette, and this model captures that heritage for modern passenger-train layouts across the United States.

Designed for today’s hobbyists, it features LED lighting and DCC-ready operation via a Quick Plug 21-pin NEM connector, see-through window glazing with radiator fans, and separately applied horn and grab irons with Celcon scale handrails. Built on a heavy die-cast frame with all-wheel drive and a precise five-pole motor, it delivers smooth, quiet pulling power and arrives fully assembled and ready to run. Some versions include onboard Econami sound for enhanced operation on DC or DCC layouts, and the model supports curves as small as 18 inches.
