HO scale Ready-to-Run SD40T-2 diesel locomotive with DCC and sound in SP/Roseville livery, roster number 8232. This six-axle tunnel-motor reproduces the distinctive silhouette of the SD40T-2 and is built for reliable operation on HO layouts, featuring a detailed injection-molded body, fine-scale handrails, see-through cab windows, LED lighting, and a robust 5-pole motor with flywheels for smooth, quiet performance. Compatible with both DC and DCC, the model includes onboard sound to bring engine and horn effects to life on command.

For the Roseville repaint, prototype cues include removal of the nose gyralight, relocation of the horn, tall forward ditchlights, and a full-length stripe for an authentic look. The model rides on RP25-contour wheels with full electrical pickup on all axles and features see-through dynamic brake fans and radiators, along with separately applied air tanks for added realism. Sound-equipped variants use Econami by SoundTraxx with full DCC functionality and NMRA-compliant CVs, while remaining operable on DC layouts; a 22-inch minimum radius is recommended for smooth operation through curves.
