HO-scale SD40T-2 diesel locomotive with DCC and Sound in Southern Pacific #8497. This ready-to-run model reproduces the tunnel-motor design used by EMD, delivering 3,000 horsepower across six axles for authentic HO-scale operation. Onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx provides realistic engine, horn, and bell sounds, and the model runs on both DC and DCC layouts for flexible use on different layouts.

Road-number-specific features include an L-window, full gyralight package on the front and rear, plows on both ends, and a slanted Nathan P-3 horn.
