HO scale SD40T-2 tunnel-motor locomotive in D&RGW livery, road number 5353. This ready-to-run model reproduces the six-axle EMD SD40T-2 with a 16‑cylinder EMD 645E3 engine delivering about 3,000 horsepower. As a tunnel motor, it features cooling-system modifications such as rear radiator intakes and grills to improve airflow in tunnels. The locomotive is equipped with onboard Econami sound by SoundTraxx and full DCC functionality via a 21-pin NEM Quick Plug, while still allowing operation on DC layouts with limited functions.
