This HO-scale Ready-To-Run SD40T-2 tunnel-motor locomotive comes with DCC and onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx, delivering authentic diesel sound and smooth operation on an HO layout. It models a former D&RGW locomotive in the W&LE/Ex-D&RGW #5391 scheme, capturing the distinctive tunnel-motor features and bold road number for an authentic appearance.

Built for realistic performance and display, the model features fine-scale details such as precise handrails, see-through cab windows, separately applied air tanks, photo-etched windshield wipers, and LED lighting, plus all-wheel electrical pickup for reliable running. The six-axle drivetrain uses a 5-pole motor with flywheels for smooth, quiet operation, with nickel-plated RP25 wheels for dependable track compatibility. DCC-ready with NMRA-compatible functions and full DCC capability, it also supports onboard Econami sound in both DC and DCC (full features in DCC, limited functions in DC).
